ImPACT Baseline Testing (3:22)

All incoming freshman or new transfer student-athletes MUST take the ImPACT computerized baseline test prior to participating in ANY sport-related practice or competition.

The ImPACT Baseline Test is a tool the Athletic Trainers utilize when managing a student-athlete's return to play following a head injury. Using a battery of cognitive tests & symptom checklists, the test serves as an important component of concussion management. This will allow Wildkit athletes to participate in their sports safely.

Baseline tests are now available to be administered at home using the student's school or personal computer. If your student requires an ImPACT test prior to the start of the season, please have them reference this video for instructions on taking the test. Please ensure a quiet testing environment when taking the test.

More instructions on taking the ImPACT test can be found using the link below:

It is encouraged that annual sports physical exams be turned in ASAP to ensure a smooth transition into participation (at least 2 weeks prior to start of season). Processing of physicals and impact test can take up to 5 business days.
